LIMITED BED SPACE AVAILABLE: Circle Pines Center has 103 beds available, in cabins with varying levels of facilities, from hotel-type to primitive cabins. Tent camping is permitted. We will assign rooms on a first-come, first-served, and special needs basis, at Summit Planner discretion. No room refunds can be made after May 10, 2026. Special consideration will be given to people with health issues, special bathroom requirements, again on a FC-FS basis. Book early! NOTE: Attendees must bring their own sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels.

DIETARY PREFERENCES/RESTRICTIONS: The Summit Planners have contracted with a caterer to provide meals for Friday, Saturday and Sunday; and breakfast and box lunch Monday. They need detailed knowledge of what those needs are. Please provide the following information:

Option 1: Two step process:

STEP 1.) Complete this registration form. Scan and e-mail/print out and send it back to: neis@neis.org

STEP 2.) Payment: go to www.neis.org, click the orange “Donate Now” button to make payment for the Summit by credit card. Fill out fields, and in the field marked “Write a note (Optional)”on the “Donate with Debit or Credit Card” page, write, “SMNR Summit 2026”. YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS!

Option 2: Complete registration form and mail it back to: NEIS, 3411 W. Diversey #13, Chicago IL 60647, along with your check made payable to “NEIS”, and marked “SMNR Summit” in the memo field.

Limited financial assistance may be available. Please contact NEIS at neis@neis.org if you need travel or housing assistance. (IMPORTANT! See notes at the end!!)

TRAVEL INFORMATION:

While travel plans are the responsibility of the attendees, we may be able to help in small ways if you come from afar. We may be able to help plan transport to and from nearby airports or train stations IF you provide your travel plans below at least one week before the Summit, i.e., prior to Friday, May 8, 2026.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Accommodations at CPC consist of cabins with varying degree of amenities, and tent camping. If you choose not to stay at the CPC, accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. We may be able to help you find someone to share hotel rooms offsite with. If you are interested in these options, please check the box below.

SPECIAL REGISTRATION NOTES AND CONDITIONS:

1.) Your advance registration holds your slot on a first-come, first-served basis at the $75 rate. After May 8, registration increases to $100. No refunds can be made after May 10, 2018.

2.) This is a strategic planning and action summit, not a talking head, information conference. Participation is limited to grassroots activists working together for a non-nuclear energy future. Participants may be expected to do advance preparation prior to arriving. Materials will be e-mailed or posted online for people to review. Your suggested actions and plans should be thought and written out in advance of the Summit. Confidentiality of all plans and agreements reached at the Summit is required. If you feel you cannot meet these expectations, this Summit is probably not for you.

3.) Submitting this registration form is your agreement to abide by ALL rules, requirements and restrictions of the Circle Pines Center, and those of the Summit Planning Committee. These will be provided to you separately in advance.

4.) Scholarship/financial aid conditions:

a. Cases will be examined individually, and on a first-come, first served basis, based on need, organization affiliation (if any), and ability to raise funding for your own participation.

b. Deadline for receiving scholarship/financial assistance requests is May 4, 2026. Apply early.
